Strategic Sales Director for Global Clients

This senior sales leadership position at Gartner Careers is responsible for spearheading strategy and direction for global clients or major regional accounts with substantial strategic and revenue-generating importance. The ideal candidate will manage a team of sales professionals, drive new business growth within assigned accounts, and meet or exceed sales quotas.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to achieve business results aligned with overall sales objectives.
- Maintain executive relationships with clients, establishing trust and serving as a trusted advisor in their primary locations.
- Foster a culture of excellence within the sales team, attracting and retaining top talent by following Gartner's validated recruitment methodology.
- Drive high levels of activity through team prospecting sessions and ensure direct reports are equipped to excel in their roles.
- 15+ years of external experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology services or software, with a proven track record of success.
- Ability to build and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within large multinational companies.
- Strong intellect, executive presence, and sales acumen, with a focus on providing value-added insights to clients.
- Proven ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and structure innovative solutions that support IT decision-making.
- Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers and extensive industry knowledge specific to vertical markets.
- A competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 annually.
