About the Role
Iron Mountain seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our bid development process in Spain. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting public sector and commercial opportunities within the region, producing high-quality bids that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of multiple bids following defined processes and ensuring quality, accuracy, and integrity of final submissions.
- Lead assigned tenders, setting and maintaining bid schedules, assigning tasks, and supporting all deliverables.
- Analyse client needs and business drivers to ensure win themes, client benefits, and evaluation criteria are addressed throughout the bid.
- Write and edit bid sections for continuity, logic, organisation, message, and compliance to emphasise company differentiators.
- Communicate with subject matter experts to develop and write non-standard responses to bid questions.
Requirements
- Substantial experience managing bid processes for Spanish public sector and commercial clients.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional teams encompassing subject matter experts from various corporate areas.
- Experience with service-based and/or technology solution selling in bids.
- Able to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail required.
- Native Spanish speaker alongside fluency in English.
- Proficiency with use of MS Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and similar technology.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is €65,000 - €85,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, pension scheme, and paid vacation time.
