We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist for Plastics to enhance our team.

  • Location: Zaragoza, Spain (on-site)
  • Duration: 12-18 months (subject to eligibility criteria)
Key Responsibilities

In the role of a Plastics Procurement Specialist, you will be instrumental in crafting and implementing purchasing strategies for virgin, off-grade, recycled, and scrap plastics. Your focus will be on sourcing materials from Spain for international sales, with potential to explore additional product lines. Reporting directly to the Spain Commercial Manager, your duties will encompass:

  • Executing purchasing strategies to achieve and surpass revenue objectives.
  • Negotiating and managing supplier contracts.
  • Coordinating logistics with our headquarters.
  • Identifying and engaging new suppliers within Spain, and potentially in Portugal.
  • Establishing robust relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing business.
  • Advising on future business strategies by analyzing market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in international trade or procurement.
  • Familiarity with the polymers sector, with experience in trading being advantageous.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Google Suite.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of nurturing long-term business relationships.
  • Language Proficiency: Spanish and English; knowledge of additional languages such as French or Dutch is a plus.
