Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team at Saica Group. This role is pivotal in driving our procurement strategy and ensuring compliance with established policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing the Group's Procurement Policy and Strategy while ensuring adherence to the Procurement Procedures.
- Overseeing and managing the procurement categories under your purview, including Equipment, Investments, Forklifts, Spare Parts, and Capital Expenditures.
- Conducting proactive market analysis to identify and evaluate supplier sectors.
- Developing proposals aimed at fostering continuous improvement within the procurement function.
- Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meeting the objectives established for the role.
- Collaborating with the Legal Director to define specific contract models.
Minimum Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- A degree in a STEM field is required.
Professional Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical buyer within a multinational industrial environment is essential.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in both English and French is required.
Additional Skills:
- Strong creativity and dynamism.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage stress.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in SAP SRM/MM.
- Willingness to travel across Europe and potential for short-term expatriation.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
