Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting all purchasing activities related to project procurement. Your primary goal will be to ensure the successful completion of projects by managing the procurement process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Meetings and Coordination
- Attend project meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with project team members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Purchasing and Sourcing
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify and select qualified suppliers.
- Manage the procurement process, including RFQs, awards, and contract negotiations.
- Supplier Management
- Identify and assess supplier risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with Valeo's requirements.
- Project Planning and Coordination
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
