Job Summary
As a Procurement Specialist for Packaging Materials at Recordati, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all sourcing and procurement activities for our Spanish and French manufacturing plants. This includes tactical purchasing processes for packaging materials spend, local negotiations, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sourcing processes in line with company operational procedures to identify the most appropriate suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers according to company guidelines and corporate agreements.
- Support the Category Manager in monitoring the supplier portfolio and collecting information required for supplier performance evaluation.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to align planned activities and deliveries.
Requirements
- Provide site leadership for packaging procurement activities, tasks, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with site leadership and stakeholders to effectively manage the supply base and ensure high levels of performance and continuity of supply.
- Ensure all demand requirements for packaging are fulfilled for the plants.
- Work with vendors to resolve supply, quality, or delivery issues.
- Deliver established budget and cost savings targets through competitive bidding and effective negotiation of supply and service agreements.
- Identify future opportunities for cost savings and leverage opportunities with other sites.
- Track and record savings projects.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for packaging materials in alignment with stakeholders' needs and Group Procurement guidelines.
- Responsible for local P2P (Procure to Pay) process for spend.
- Develop and manage the RFI/RFP (tender) process according to Global and local Sourcing policies as required.
- Negotiate key supplier contracts for packaging and payment terms.
