We are in search of a motivated and skilled Sourcing Specialist for Plastics to become part of our team.

  • Location: Zaragoza, Spain (on-site)
  • Duration: 12-18 months (subject to eligibility criteria)
Key Responsibilities

In the role of a Plastics Sourcing Specialist, you will be instrumental in formulating and implementing procurement strategies for virgin, off-grade, recycled, and scrap plastics. Your focus will be on sourcing materials from Spain for international sales, with potential opportunities to expand into additional product lines. Reporting directly to the Spain Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Executing purchasing strategies to achieve and surpass revenue objectives.
  • Negotiating and managing supplier contracts.
  • Coordinating logistics with our headquarters.
  • Identifying and recruiting new suppliers within Spain, and potentially in Portugal.
  • Fostering strong relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing business (including frequent interactions, travel, and participation in exhibitions).
  • Advising on future business strategies by analyzing market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in international trade or procurement.
  • Familiarity with the polymers sector, with experience in trading being advantageous.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Google Suite.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of nurturing long-term business relationships.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages such as French or Dutch are a plus.
