Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our team at Saica. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the procurement process for various categories, including equipment, investment, forklifts, spare parts, and capital expenditures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead and manage procurement teams to achieve business objectives and improve procurement processes.
- Conduct market analyses and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and implement contract management strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure procurement processes are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements:
- STEM degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical buying role in a multinational industrial company.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of SAP SRM/MM and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
