About the Role

Gartner Careers is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with Large Enterprise companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities with Large Enterprise companies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with internal resources and external partners to prioritize and penetrate key accounts
  • Utilize sales enablement tools and management processes to drive revenue growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 8+ years of proven consultative sales experience in high technology to large multinational companies
  • Ability to build credibility quickly with new clients and develop strategic relationships
  • Confirmed experience in prospecting and developing new business, with a strong ability to transition prospects to clients
  • Proven experience in closing enterprise-wide complex sales solutions
  • High level of clock speed, with the ability to comprehend and problem solve quickly
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others in the organization
  • Ability to articulate a strong value proposition of Research at the executive level
  • Ability to uncover and prioritize prospective client's KIs to drive a shortened sales cycle
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Prior experience utilizing a corporate/enterprise-wide CRM tool
  • Intermediate to advanced competence in Excel
