Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to oversee and enhance our portfolio of flexible energy assets. In this position, you will engage with existing clients, prospective customers, and strategic partners throughout the sales cycle. You will be responsible for specific market segments, driving growth and fostering relationships.

Your role will encompass international account management, allowing you to utilize your global expertise. From generating leads to integrating assets into our portfolio, you will manage the complete commercial process.

You will also participate in the design and execution of new initiatives, which may involve creating products in collaboration with our IT department and exploring emerging market segments such as energy storage, electric vehicles, and renewable energy solutions. Your insights and strategic vision will be essential in developing and enhancing Veolia's product offerings and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of your assigned customer portfolio and proactively engage with clients for contract renewals and performance evaluations.
  • Implement and execute our sales strategy, focusing on acquiring new clients in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing clients to ensure their needs are met and value is maximized.
  • Collaborate closely with the Portfolio Management team to deliver tailored products and services that optimize value for clients and Veolia.
  • Represent Veolia at industry events and seminars, building a robust network to enhance our market position.
  • Work alongside the country manager and product teams to define and develop new functionalities and energy services, including creating product documentation and presentations.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the valuation and technical aspects of emerging energy technologies.
  • Engage in commercial discussions regarding new technologies to expand Veolia's business opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to ensure our offerings remain competitive.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  • Strong background in Account Management within the industrial sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in Spanish and English; knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is advantageous.
  • Technical acumen and a genuine interest in energy innovations are essential.
  • Proven ability to think creatively and strategically, with a proactive approach to business development.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • A collaborative team player with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn, with a commitment to sharing knowledge.
