Regional Account Manager (Center) Madrid

Key Responsibilities:

As a Regional Account Manager at Fortinet, you will lead a team of sales professionals and drive direct sales engagements into mid-size enterprise accounts and strategic partners in an assigned territory. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement account plans aimed at achieving deployments of Fortinet products and services. You will establish and maintain executive relationships with key buyers and influencers, leveraging these relationships during the sales process. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal groups to create and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work. Your negotiation skills will be essential in securing terms of business with clients that result in win/win outcomes and foster strong ongoing relationships.

Key Performance Indicators:

  1. Generate business opportunities and manage the sales process through to closure of the sale.
  2. Achieve agreed quarterly sales goals.
  3. Develop a sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline.

Required Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Proven ability to sell solutions to mid-size enterprise accounts.
  2. Previous experience as a Team Lead is desired.
  3. A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
  4. Experience in closing large deals.
  5. Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle.
  8. Minimum 5 years sales experience selling to mid-size enterprise accounts.
  9. Minimum 3 years selling network security products and services.
  10. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  11. A competitive, self-starter, hunter-type mentality.

Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a graduate degree preferred.
