POSITION OVERVIEW
SAP Digital Hub is on the lookout for Sales Specialists to join our Mid-Market segment in the UKI region. Your role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and facilitating digital transformation within our existing customer base and potential new clients. What Does a Mid-Market Sales Specialist Do?
The Mid-Market Sales Specialist is tasked with increasing revenue within the mid-market sector of their designated territory, primarily through partnerships with channel affiliates. Key responsibilities include managing territory coverage, generating demand, forecasting sales, closing transactions, strategic planning, ensuring satisfaction among customers and partners, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver business value and innovation.

A Day in the Life of a Mid-Market Sales Specialist
- Engage with clients and partners to identify their needs and promote our solution offerings
- Plan and implement demand generation initiatives aligned with territory goals
- Qualify leads, progress through the sales cycle, and collaborate with key stakeholders for partner selection and pricing assistance
Pipeline Management Responsibilities
- Manage and finalize deals to meet or exceed targets in collaboration with partners
- Utilize our Digital Sales Motion to effectively engage with clients and partners
- Work with various teams and stakeholders to ensure successful deal execution
- Focus on opportunity management and ensure customer needs are addressed throughout the sales process
- Maintain accurate CRM data for efficient pipeline management and customer insights
Self-Development Initiatives
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of solutions and processes in designated areas
- Enhance sales skills as part of the SAP Commercial Sales Career progression framework
- Leverage available resources for ongoing self-improvement and skill enhancement
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 3-8 years of experience in a Mid-Market Sales environment or Field Sales
- 1-2 years of experience in Quota Carriage (Mandatory)
- Proven track record in multi-channel go-to-market strategies
- Familiarity with the ERP market for generalist CSE or specific solutions for specialist CSE
- Fluency in native/advanced level English (Mandatory)
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or equivalent required
- MBA/Ph.D. not required
