Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and skilled professional to join our team as the IT Compliance and Governance Manager. This pivotal role will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Governance Compliance and Risk teams in identifying control objectives and designing procedures to meet those objectives.
- Provide expertise in practical information security protocols.
- Conduct strategic risk assessments of enterprise technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with Security and IT leadership to create, manage, and maintain comprehensive information security documentation.
- Regularly evaluate and work collaboratively to resolve any identified issues within corporate systems.
- Oversee the review, documentation, evaluation, and testing of controls, particularly automated controls across various IT systems.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal stakeholders.
- Work alongside other IT team members to establish security standards and processes.
- Engage with internal and external teams to address audit findings.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Act as a technical consultant for related projects, representing the IT team professionally.
- Stay informed about current and emerging trends in information security and compliance.
- Identify needs, analyze root causes of issues, and implement practical solutions.
- Assess the technical and business impact of identified security and control issues, providing guidance for remediation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Audit, IT Security, Information Risk Management, IT Governance, or related IT Compliance roles.
- Extensive knowledge of IT internal controls, particularly concerning financial reporting and information systems support processes.
- Experience in conducting Security Audits and Assessments.
- Familiarity with Service Organization Control (SOC2 & OSPAR) assessments.
- Technical expertise in cross-platform system security, including operating systems, databases, networking, and transactional processing environments.
- Strong analytical skills to prioritize information and make informed recommendations.
- Ability to synthesize research into clear, actionable deliverables.
- Experience managing small teams and delegating tasks effectively.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in technical writing and documentation.
- Awareness of software and IT service methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment
IPC promotes a hybrid working model that fosters an inclusive and flexible environment, allowing employees to perform at their best while collaborating and celebrating successes together. Employees typically spend around 60% of their time in the office and 40% working remotely, with some roles requiring more office presence based on client needs.
Your specific work schedule will be determined in collaboration with your Line Manager prior to starting your employment with IPC.
