Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our Legal department in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety, security, and compliance programs, policies, and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement company-wide safety, security, and compliance programs to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risks.
- Manage security protocols, licenses, certificates, and insurance to ensure adherence to national and international laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and prepare a diverse range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, internal policies, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and organize the company's contract database, ensuring timely execution of contract renewals or terminations.
- Assist in managing legal disputes by drafting responses, coordinating with external legal counsel, and supporting litigation matters.
- Recommend and implement improvements in processes, practices, and tools related to safety, security, and compliance.
- Manage communications with external stakeholders and collaborate with the Office Manager to ensure internal health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Risk Management, Law, Business Administration, or Compliance.
- Proven experience in safety, security, or compliance management roles, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with attention to detail and follow-through.
