About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and use of Amazon Web Services (AWS) among our enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more.
  • Provide technical acumen and customer-facing skills to effectively represent AWS within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
  • Advocate and provide strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices and proactively keep customer AWS environments operationally healthy.
  • Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business and technical needs and challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.

Requirements
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three or more of the following: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, and applications development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, internal enterprise, or external customer-facing experience.
  • Fluency in English (Dutch/Flemish language is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
