About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Computing Technical Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect, you will have a direct impact on helping our Enterprise Support customers gain the most value from cloud technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build solutions and provide technical guidance to customers
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers and understand their business needs and technical challenges
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Consult with a range of partners from developers to C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
  • Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud
  • Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops, brown bag sessions, etc.

Requirements
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
  • Experience in technical engineering
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Spanish and English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
  • Portuguese proficiency is a plus
