Job Summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers.

About the Role

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. As a Technical Account Manager, you will work with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide principal technical advisory and 'voice of the customer' to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
  • Work proactively to help craft and execute strategies to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services.
  • Collaborate with engineers and service teams to resolve customer support issues.
  • Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges.
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.

Requirements

This position requires the ability to travel 10% or more as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical acumen and customer-facing skills, with the ability to effectively represent AWS within a customer's environment.
