About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through strategic sales and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual annual sales targets by selling to Payer, Provider, and Government clients across our offering suite.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate sales efforts and leverage sales specialist teams where required.
  • Partner with other regional and global sales functions to engage C-suite and key influencers within client organizations.
  • Assess client potential and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue and growth.
  • Support the development of new and improved client-centric offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with substantial experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of selling directly to healthcare clients, ideally within the provider Health IT and/or operational clinical systems area.
  • Extensive knowledge of Health IT tech offerings, customer account management, and the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior-level executives both internally and at customer organizations.
  • Ability to work independently and engage wider go-to-market stakeholders across the organization.
