We are on the lookout for a motivated, lively, and skilled Kitchen Assistant to become a part of THE ROOFTOP team at the Sir Victor Hotel in Barcelona.

Your primary responsibility will involve ensuring the proper preparation, organization, sanitation, and disinfection of the assigned kitchen items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the preparation list established by the chefs to organize daily tasks.
  • Support in the preparation of dishes according to the technical specifications.
  • Accurately measure ingredients and seasonings required for cooking.
  • Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, meats, and other items.
  • Execute cooking tasks, including reducing sauces and blanching foods.
  • Guarantee that all food items and other products are stored correctly.
  • Carry out additional kitchen duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a kitchen assistant.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
  • Manual dexterity for handling cutting tools and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish is preferred.
