Our client is a benchmark company in the food field with more than 30 years’ experience that provides co-packing and private label services. With the HQ and manufacturing facility in Sant Esteve Sesrovires, Barcelona, we are looking for an **ACCOUNT MANAGER **to join the Commercial team.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Own and manage a portfolio of MDD customers in Spain and Europe and develop a high level of customer engagement.
- Fully understand customers’ needs and requirements developing a deep understanding of Tutichip products.
- Be able to develop commercial strategies in the short and medium term through in-depth knowledge of our clients
- Promote new products to existing MDD customers
- Propose new sales opportunities
- Identify common problems within each account and propose strategies to adapt the product or services based on customer’s needs. Solve issues promptly whilst also developing methods to ensure repeated issues are not happening.
- Meet with the annual sales budget assigned
**What you will need**:
- University degree in business, economics, international trade
- 2+ years proven experience in the fields of business development, account management, marketing or consulting
- Excellent communications (written and verbal) skills in Spanish and English - you will communicate with EMEA food companies on a daily basis.
- Ideally previous experience in in Food industry
- Experience with Private label is a plus
- Strong computer skills (MS Office)
- Ideally knowledge of SAP
- Customer oriented, highly motivated, and flexible person
- Impeccable with solving problems and have analytical skills
- Clear commercial and marketing vocation
