At Elanco, a global leader in animal health, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pet Health Sales Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity is located in Extremadura/Centro-oeste, Spain and involves regular travel within the country up to 75%. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the animal health industry and have a strong background in veterinary sales or a related field.

About the Role

This senior-level sales position requires a deep understanding of the pet health market and the ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and execution. As a Senior Pet Health Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the Elanco sales strategy and achieving quarterly sales targets by promoting our presence in key accounts.

  • Cultivate customer relationships to increase customer experience through products, people, and projects.
  • Create Demand Realization which contributes to delivering customer value and increasing pet health business.
  • Manage Pet Health Accounts and Distribution channel.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish boardroom relationships with senior managers, veterinarians, and pet health professionals. Strong knowledge of sales and marketing capabilities, as well as a focus on understanding customer needs, is essential for this role.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years' expertise in vet clinics, pet-food, sales in the Animal Industry or technical veterinarian role.
  • Education background in Veterinary or Animal Science.
  • English high level (spoken & written) and fluent Spanish.
  • A positive attitude and fit with Elanco's Cultural Pillars.
  • Strong presentation, negotiating and analytical skills.
  • Influence and leadership skills.
  • Knowledgeable of sales and/or marketing capabilities and competencies with a focus on understanding customer needs.

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include flexibility to participate in evening and/or weekend business events and driving license provided.
