About the Role

The Business Development Director will lead the development and implementation of Lockheed Martin's strategy in Spain, working closely with corporate functions and Business Areas. This role will enable the company to deliver its strategy for Spain and be successful in winning/keeping key programmes in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Lockheed Martin's corporate engagement and business development in Spain.
  • Provide a strong understanding of Spanish customer plans and priorities.
  • Understand the business environment and trends affecting Lockheed Martin.
  • Develop effective strategies for growing and maintaining Lockheed Martin's business in Spain.

Requirements

  • Equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, written and verbal.
  • Experience of representing a brand and communicating clearly both within the company and to customers and stakeholders.
  • Established contacts with Government and military personnel.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and maintain and manage current business relationships as well as identify new business with government and commercial customers.

Working Environment

Lockheed Martin's International Corporate and Enterprise Business Services (EBS) units consist of Business Development, IT Services, Payroll, ESH, HR and Finance functions that support the business across the whole of the EMEA region.
