Area Sales Manager - Soth of Spain Territory
About the Company:NORIT Activated Carbon is a leading global manufacturer of various qualities of activated carbon in powder and granular form. Our mission is to provide customers with added value activated carbon solutions in energy, environmental, water, food, chemical, pharma, automotive, and other industrial markets.
Sales Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to handle specialty or complex accounts in the Soth of Spain territory. The ideal candidate will drive the sales of Norit products, generate and achieve sales and profit metrics, develop strategic sales plans, and foster strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage sales territory and sell NORIT products to generate target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from the customer base.
- Develop volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans, and strategies for achieving desired results.
- Drive both current and future value for NORIT by building a shared understanding of individual customer and overall portfolio profitability, focusing on where NORIT can differentiate itself at the interface with the customer.
- Educate customers on new products and product enhancements, articulating and presenting product features and benefits.
- Identify new market opportunities and target builds; seek out competitive information.
- Establish and maintain processes that ensure accurate budget and forecast information for the business.
- Lead NORIT's efforts to establish levels of excellence in sales and distributor management and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field of science, and previous experience with activated carbon, filtration and purification technologies, food additives, or water treatment. They should also have five or more years of experience in sales, fluent Spanish and English language skills, and the ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
Compensation and Benefits:This role offers a competitive salary range of €60,000-€80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as the opportunity to work fully remotely.
