About the Role

Leica Biosystems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to drive the growth of our Digital Pathology business in Spain and Portugal. As a Regional Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy to capture market share and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a regional business strategy to drive growth and market share capture
  • Build and deliver Digital Pathology projects that meet customer needs and expectations
  • Manage sales opportunities across the full funnel process from lead to implementation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent above-market growth
  • Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems' market share
  • Support the tender response team on technical application processes
  • Communicate the value proposition of Leica Biosystems' Digital Pathology solutions to customers
  • Support value selling and smart pricing models
  • Apply business intelligence tools to maximize results and optimizations
Requirements
  • University degree in IT or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience in the Health Care IT environment, including knowledge of technologies, products, and processes
  • Previous experience in a biomedical and sales-oriented environment, with an understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel within the defined territory up to 60% of the time
