Strategic Account Leadership Opportunity

M&C Saatchi Group is a creative agency that comes together to realise BIG AMBITIONS. As part of our team, you will be the client lead for one of our biggest financial services clients, responsible for managing relationships with key client contacts and overseeing their day-to-day communications requirements. We are looking for a Senior Account Director who will foster close collaboration with Brand Strategy, Creative & Design, and Integrated Production teams.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Senior Account Director, ideally from a creative agency environment. They will have proven experience leading integrated campaigns and comms projects, with exposure to the Financial Services industry being an advantage. The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of communications projects, including TV, radio, print production, sponsorships, and emerging media such as digital, web, email, and mobile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innately understand the client's business and seek ways to add value to drive the client business in terms of creative product, market share, and brand recognition.
- Strategically drive the client's marketing product within the category, anticipating potential competitive threats or opportunities.
- Make recommendations to the client and monitor the health of the account team, ensuring that resources are appropriate and profitable.
- Build and nurture beneficial working relationships with the wider agency team by actively listening and seeking guidance.
- Use learnings on campaign performance to orchestrate maximum effectiveness on future campaigns, from brief through to production and implementation.
- Act as mentor to junior members of the Account Management team, setting a positive example for team behaviour, learning, and collaboration.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Senior Account Director, ideally from a creative agency environment.
- Proven experience leading integrated campaigns and comms projects, with exposure to the Financial Services industry being an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of communications projects, including TV, radio, print production, sponsorships, and emerging media such as digital, web, email, and mobile.
- A leader - proven ability to build and inspire a diverse team, elevate quality of work and ideas to the next level.
- An influencer - able to take people on a journey, achieve buy-in across critical issues.
Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
