Overview

We are Invenergy, a leading developer, owner, and operator of sustainable energy solutions. As a Compensation and Benefits Coordinator – Spain, you will play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day payroll operations run smoothly for our company(ies) in Spain.

Responsibilities
  • Process monthly payroll for our growing workforce in Spain with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Liaise with in-country partners on payroll calculations, employee payments, and third-party payments to benefit providers.
  • Assist with implementing timekeeping systems in Workday and serve as an expert on the system to address employee and manager questions.
  • Collect and audit timesheet data within Workday and prepare project time allocations.
  • Partner with the business to propose and review recommendations for managing working schedules, controlling overtime, and maintaining labor requirements.
  • Manage flexible benefits enrollments and changes, coordinating payment and reconciliation processes with accounting.
  • Audit monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll and tax reports, filings, and government notifications.
  • Review and authorize expatriate expenses, manage intercompany billing of expatriate costs, and prepare training materials and conduct training sessions.
  • Collaborate with departments such as HR, Accounting, and Treasury to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll rules and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems and payroll software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range €55,000 - €70,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
