Our mission is to empower businesses to innovate and win in the modern digital world, and we're seeking a talented sales professional to join our team as a Cloud Account Executive.

In this role, you will play a critical part in our Customer Growth go-to-market strategy, driving revenue growth through proactive prospecting, pipeline generation, and customer engagement. You will work closely with our internal teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  2. Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, discovery, and qualification.
  3. Collaborate with internal partners to drive success and achieve sales targets.
  4. Nurture existing PAYGs to drive incremental consumption and/or sign a commit.
  5. Participate in sales enablement training to stay up-to-date on Confluent's products and services.

About You:

  • 1+ years of Outbound SDR Experience, with a track record of overachievement and KPI attainment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the business value of complex cloud technologies, especially with technical customers.
  • Skilled in new business prospecting, pipeline generation, discovery, and qualification.
