Strategic Business Development Director

We're seeking an experienced Strategic Business Development Director to spearhead our B2B business development efforts. With a strong background in technical roles and leadership experience, you'll be responsible for recruiting, coaching, and leading a growing team of Developer Relations experts.
About the Role:
- Support and empower our Product and Marketing functions by providing valuable insights and expertise
- Partner with engineering and marketing leads to drive forward CORE thought leadership and strategic product feedback
- Represent CORE as the Voice of the Developer, providing meaningful context and guidance to our broader organization
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to documentation, code samples, and sample projects that showcase CORE's products and capabilities
- Develop and deliver presentations and content to engage developers about CORE's product
- Plan and review DevRel contributions to Content & Event Marketing efforts
- Collaborate with the Developer Relations community to recruit top practitioners and build strong relationships with technical and non-technical audiences
- Conduct research on ecosystem trends, upstream software changes, and deepening domain knowledge to inform strategic product decisions
Requirements:
- 12+ years experience in technical roles (Technical Program Manager, Software Engineer, Partner Engineer, Developer Advocate, Technical Writing, etc.)
- 5+ years experience as a leader of a technical group or DevRel team
- 5+ years experience developing in at least one of Web, Mobile, Desktop, Backend or Games development environments
- Deep expertise in developer advocacy and community engagement
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to lead execution across teams and influence decision-making
- Polyglot engineer with broad knowledge of diverse development environments

What We Offer:
