Job Summary

Viator, a leading travel marketplace, is seeking a seasoned Global Head of Performance Marketing to drive growth and revenue through data-driven strategies. As a key member of the executive team, this leader will oversee the largest marketing budget and report directly to the CFO.

About the Role

This critical position will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to scale performance marketing spend across multiple channels while maintaining efficiency.
  • Creating a comprehensive framework for evaluating performance marketing spend, focusing on optimizing lifetime value (LTV) to customer acquisition cost (CAC).
  • Improving paid search efforts with Google and expanding paid search to social channels.
  • Unlocking and scaling paid social and other underfunded paid performance channels.
  • Driving the development of end-to-end marketing and digital acquisition strategies.
  • Analyzing, tracking, reporting, and forecasting key performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity for program performance improvement.
  • Managing, optimizing, innovating, and expanding programs for all performance marketing channels through a test-and-learn approach.
  • Partnering with the Vice President of Brand and Communications to drive a cohesive marketing strategy.
  • Serving as a critical thought partner to the executive team and other senior leaders on adapting performance marketing strategies as the business evolves.
  • Collaborating with business partners to identify efficiencies and improve effectiveness in acquisition channels through innovations in strategy, targeting, delivery, process, and new capabilities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in performance marketing, with a strong track record of driving growth and revenue.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize LTV to CAC.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with key partners, including Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Bing.
