We are seeking a Medical Office Coordinator to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Job Summary

The Medical Office Coordinator will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for collecting information, preparing documentation, and ensuring smooth communication with relevant staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and their caregivers, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Collect and verify patient details, medical history, billing, and insurance information.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate admission and discharge documentation.
  • Enter information into databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Relay information to relevant staff members, facilitating effective communication.
  • Inform patients and their caregivers about hospital procedures, policies, and protocols.
  • Provide patients with billing and payment information, ensuring transparency and clarity.
  • Address patient questions, concerns, and issues in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, prioritizing efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a clerical position preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans is beneficial.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems, with adaptability to new technologies.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a calm and composed attitude under pressure.
Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
