Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Customer Support Director to lead our support strategy, overseeing and managing a large, global team. This leader will be responsible for implementing scalable processes, optimizing the customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple touch points.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership & Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive customer support strategy that aligns with our business objectives, focusing on bot and chat support as primary communication channels.
  2. Operational Excellence, Tooling and Automation: Oversee day-to-day operations of the customer support team, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded, with a strong emphasis on real-time chat responsiveness.
  3. Team Development & Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse and talented global customer support team, equipping them to handle customer inquiries with empathy, efficiency, and expertise.
  4. Data & Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to monitor, report on, and improve customer satisfaction, response times, resolution times, and other key performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 7+ years in customer support management, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within a fast-paced marketplace or e-commerce environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and nurturing high-performing global teams.
  • Data Analysis: Strong data and analytical skills, with experience using customer support software and data reporting tools.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
What We Offer:
  • Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
