Job Summary

The Customer Service – Inside Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and fostering long-term relationships with Graybar's valued customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service via phone, email, and other communication channels, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Graybar's products and services, aligning with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to provide technical support, share market insights, and develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business requirements and preferences to deliver personalized service.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and market conditions to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 12 education; a technical background or post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong product knowledge, sales acumen, and customer service skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
