About the Role
We are seeking a motivated individual for the position of Scientific Business Development Specialist in Atomic Spectroscopy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving and developing the atomic spectroscopy business in your assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on supporting account managers with technical/scientific expertise, primarily in application, workflow development, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive and develop the atomic spectroscopy business in the assigned territory
- Support technically account managers with pre-sales demonstration activities on your territory
- Assist sales account managers to meet or exceed sales quota by providing technical/scientific expertise
- Collaborate with sales teams in the development of technical sales strategies
- Evaluate and support management on ramp-to-volume strategies for new products prior to release
- Provide training to the sales force
- Act as the customer voice to influence future product/application design
- Prepare and deliver technical seminars to customers/prospects

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a University Degree (PhD preferred) in a Chemistry-related field or close discipline (Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc.). You must be able to analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. Additionally, you should be able to benchmark competition and identify lockout specifications. Traveling to customer sites throughout Spain is expected, so a remote working arrangement based in Spain (Catalonia preferred) is required.

Salary
The estimated salary for this position is approximately 60,000 euros per year, commensurate with experience. This figure is based on industry standards and location factors such as cost of living and economic conditions in Spain.
