Job Title: Regional Technical Sales Manager

This position is accountable for managing Sherwin-Williams' relationship with customers in Europe and North Africa, focusing on pipe coatings. The role involves technical and sales responsibilities, requiring a deep understanding of the customer, market, and products.

Sales Responsibilities:
  • Manage Sherwin-Williams' relationship with defined customers in EU
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials
  • Closely new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Technical Service and End Users Approval Responsibilities:
  • Attend product trial qualifications and project startups to provide technical support to obtain required performance of the coating system and create efficiencies across processes at customer sites
  • Proactively analyze and optimize coating processes when being implemented on the customer line to ensure smooth and effective implementation
  • Be the trusted Technical Consultant for our customers
  • Position Sherwin Williams strengths of technology, quality, and speed in a way that the customer perceives as valuable and differentiated from the competition
Qualifications:
  • Material or Chemical Engineering degree preferred
  • English + any other languages
