About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Pre-Sales Manager to join our team in the Renewable and Ocean Structures product portfolio. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading technical client discussions, product presentations, and workshops to define the scope of our Bladed software offerings.

As a Technical Pre-Sales Manager, you will work closely with our sales team, product line, and product centre to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination. Your primary focus will be on our Bladed software, with a strong appreciation for our Sesam product also being valuable.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical client discussions to define the scope of our Bladed software offerings, contributing to the development of proposal documents and coordinating responses to client technical queries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Support Team, Product Line, and Product Centre to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and present product papers, sit on technical panels at conferences, and increase exposure and market knowledge of our products, especially in the offshore wind and oil and gas domains.
  • Develop long-standing, resilient client relationships that lead to a win-win scenario for both our customers and DNV.
  • Be an integral part of the wider EMEA Region commercial team and serve as the go-to person for Regional Sales Managers for technical questions.
Requirements
  • Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in an associated Engineering discipline with strong technical knowledge and skills in wind turbine design or simulation.
  • Hands-on experience with the DNV Bladed software tools or a competitor's similar tools.
  • A track record in a similar pre-sales position with quantifiable achievements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commercial mindset or eagerness to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills as a minimum.
Preferred
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural/multinational fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrable history of working remotely with associated reporting lines.
  • Experience of Salesforce or other CRM application.
