Technical Pre-Sales Manager, Wind Turbine Design Software

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Pre-Sales Manager to join our team in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading technical discussions with clients, focusing on our Bladed software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embedded within the sales team, work closely with Regional Sales Managers to lead technical aspects of client discussions.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues in the Support Team, Product Line, and Product Centre as necessary.
  • Lead product presentations, software demonstrations, and workshops with clients.
  • Define the scope of products to be offered and contribute to the development of proposal documents.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and provide technical voice of the customer feedback and insights to Product Managers and Product Marketing teams.
  • Support customers in successful product implementation and value creation.
  • Hold scheduled technical check-ins with clients to ensure customer value and identify potential up sales opportunities.
  • Create and present product papers/sit on technical panels at conferences.
  • Develop long-standing, resilient client relationships.
  • Be an integral part of the wider EMEA Region commercial team.
  • Be the go-to person for Regional Sales Managers for technical questions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in an associated Engineering discipline with strong technical knowledge and skills in wind turbine design or simulation.
  • An outgoing personality, comfortable with engaging and leading client discussions.
