About the role
As a key member of our Growth team, you'll be responsible for driving growth and revenue through strategic initiatives. Your focus will be on enhancing our primary revenue streams, specifically subscriptions and consumables.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a data-driven approach to optimize our subscription and consumable offerings, working closely with our Data team
- Design and execute experiments to improve paywall conversion rates and user subscription rates
- Conduct market research to inform pricing strategies for better market fit in various markets/geos
- Collaborate with our Ad Revenue/AdOps team to integrate ads seen by free users into our monetization strategy
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in improving revenue through subscriptions and one-off product purchases (ideally 5+ years)
- Experience with app-based subscription products, with a focus on strengthening the app side
- Analytical tools and paywall testing expertise, including RevenueCat, Adapty, Qonversion, or Purchasely
- Intermediate knowledge of AB Testing, comfortable discussing incremental impact, statistical significance, and type 1/type 2 errors
- Product analytics skills, including Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or Posthog
- Paywall AB Testing experience, including creating experiment backlogs and working with designers/data teams
- Store pricing configuration understanding, including subscription lifecycle and paused/canceled subscriptions
- Metric comprehension, including ARPU, ARPPU, ROAS, and Payback period
- Languages: Professional English proficiency, with German knowledge a plus
