Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager for Southern Europe at Hitachi Energy Poland Sp. Z O.O.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow the sales team in Southern Europe, focusing on the Transformers portfolio.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, Market Managers, and other stakeholders in the region.
  • Collaborate with the Hub Management team to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Lead the implementation of the BU/HUB strategy in the region, focusing on sales demand orders and growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Transformers portfolio, including technical sales skills and knowledge of market/customer needs.
  • Provide regular updates on market intelligence and competitor feedback to the Hub Management team.
  • Work closely with the Capture Team to ensure effective sales approaches and strategies.
  • Manage risk reviews for the Hub in the region, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Travel to other Hub countries as required to support business development and sales initiatives.
Requirements
  • Engineering or economics degree.
  • 15+ years of experience in marketing sales – B2B within the energy sector.
  • Technical sales skills knowledge of product portfolio.
  • Knowledge of market/Customer's needs.
  • International experience.
  • Intercultural sensitivity.
  • Fluent English, additional languages would be a plus (French/Spanish or Italian for Europe and Arabic for IMA).
  • Structured and analytical thinking.
  • Networking, Leadership, Superior communication negotiation skills.
