Strategic Business Development Director for Europe

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strategic thinker to develop divisional strategy for the GCC business units. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Sr. European Business Unit Director to achieve overall market and market share growth through the development and execution of business and marketing plans.
About the RoleAs a Strategic Business Development Director, you will lead and manage the business development team, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Growing TD SYNNEX's share of wallet (market share) with vendors
- Contributing new ideas for planning and execution at strategic and operational levels
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats
- Identifying and qualifying new vendors and managing the end-to-end onboarding process
- Supporting the development and execution of marketing plans alongside the Business Managers and Marketing team
- Inputting into forecasting and planning processes
- Developing key channel relationships
- BUILDING AND MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY CLIENTS
- Promoting the presence and profile of the business unit internally and externally
- Negotiating and finalizing business agreements, contracts, and deals in alignment with country directors
We offer a highly competitive salary range of €120,000 - €180,000 per annum, depending on experience. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of the industry
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Strategic thinking and ability to influence sales teams
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A knowledge of product and technology portfolio within the Components, Storage, and/or Server industries
- Customer Focus and Excellent written and face-to-face communication skills
- Initiative and Interpersonal Skills
