The Role of Assistant Front Desk AgentWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a key member of the Front Office Team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience. Your main duties will include:
- Assisting guests with check-in and check-out, using a variety of computer systems to manage room assignments and payments.
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Utilizing your problem-solving skills to resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Working closely with the Front Desk Agents to ensure seamless communication and a high level of service.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving ability and proficiency in Hotel property management systems.
- At least one year of experience in a Front of the House position in a similar hotel.
- Knowledge of Opera is preferred.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English and Spanish.
