We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Process all check-outs, including resolving any late and disputed charges.
- Front Desk Operations: Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Guest Services: Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed. Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
- Financial Transactions: Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
- License or Certification: None required.
