Job Summary

As a Front Desk Associate at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will be responsible for handling guest check-in and checkout efficiently and in a professional manner. You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing them with exceptional service and ensuring their stay is memorable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle guest check-in and checkout, following company procedures and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of resort property, services, and operations to provide guests with accurate information.
  • Ensure the Front Desk and office are clean and well-maintained, adhering to high standards of personal hygiene and uniform.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies, procedures, and resort fire and safety protocols.
  • Handle guest complaints in a professional and hospitable manner, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Perform daily credit checks and ensure accurate cashier closing, following accounting guidelines and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements
  • Hotel/Tourism degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish, and German; additional European languages a plus.
  • Excellent hospitality skills, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Basic accounting skills and knowledge of Opera/Guestware/Concierge Assistant/Marsha software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility in working hours.

Working Conditions
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Perform frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting, up to 15kg.
  • Good visual observation and stress resistance.
  • Long standing hours and ability to work in a team environment.
