Position Summary:
NexGen Cloud is a rapidly growing IaaS company that specializes in innovative cloud solutions and infrastructure services. The company is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead the sales function in our London office, driving growth and success in the next phase of expansion.
We are a dynamic and customer-focused organization, with a strong commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in defining our sales strategy, developing the sales function, and driving growth through the acquisition of new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver the future sales strategy, working closely with senior leadership to define and implement clear goals and objectives.
- Establish and lead the sales organization, defining role definitions and structures to maximize team output and efficiency.
- Develop and implement accurate revenue forecasts, setting clear and measurable sales targets that align with company-wide growth objectives.
- Develop, coach, and mentor the sales team to enhance their commercial skills and ensure a balance between quality and quantity in their approach.
- Implement ongoing training programs to improve the team's understanding of CRM systems, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Lead conversations with larger prospective customers, driving the acquisition of new logos and revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with go-to-market strategies, customer needs, and product developments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience leading sales teams in a technology vendor, driving significant revenue growth and establishing high-performance sales processes.
- Strong experience in developing and executing sales strategies that balance short-term wins with long-term growth, adapting to evolving market conditions and business needs.
- Proven track record of coaching and mentoring sales teams to achieve their full potential, while overseeing the daily management of team operations.
- Strong focus on CRM best practices, particularly in reporting sales metrics and pipeline management.
