As a Portfolio Growth Specialist at Personalbüro U. Herrmann, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of German SME clients with a focus on growth and retention. Your goal will be to identify client needs and sell value components to create customer engagement.

You will proactively manage an effective pipeline, prioritizing opportunities to achieve profitable growth targets. This includes seeking out new sources for expansion opportunities, such as self-generated leads, client referrals, or subsidiaries.

To succeed in this role, you will need to deliver premium value aligned with client goals, ensuring a positive customer experience and customer advocacy. You will also need to understand client opportunities, threats, and risks to maintain and grow relationships.

Key requirements for this position include native-level German and fluency in English, as well as a background working in the German market. You will need to be self-driven, results-oriented, and have a positive outlook with a clear focus on achieving targets and goals.

Additionally, you will need to have a challenger mindset, ability to think creatively, and be a natural forward planner with strong organizational skills. You will also need to be able to work independently while collaborating with team members to maximize individual and company performance.

Excellent communication skills, including German native language skills and fluency in English, are essential for this role. You will need to be able to speak confidently with senior executives, influence decision-makers, and quickly gain an in-depth understanding of each client's needs.

Previous experience in a sales role is a plus, and you will need to have strong negotiation skills and consultative sales skills. You will also need to be able to drive innovation and change.
