The Role
We're seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team in Barcelona. As a key player in our growth strategy, you'll focus on acquiring new accounts to join our platform, negotiating optimal conditions, and driving revenue expansion in Spain and Portugal.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and partnering with top-tier tour and experience providers, as well as attractions in Spain and Portugal
- Managing the sales funnel from outreach to closing and onboarding
- Utilizing CRM (Salesforce) to track progress, forecast timelines, and optimize sales strategies
- Representing GetYourGuide at industry events to foster partnerships and drive acquisition
- Establishing strong relationships with clients in destination
You'll Thrive in this Role if You:
- Hold 3+ years of experience in B2B sales and outbound acquisition, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Are proficient in using CRM systems, such as Salesforce
- Possess excellent business acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to overcome objections and close deals with challenging key accounts
- Communicate effectively in English and possess native-level proficiency in Spanish, with Portuguese being an asset
