Job Description
We're seeking a motivated Senior Account Executive Travel to create long-term business partnerships in Spain. Your role will involve building and growing travel and hospitality partnerships, optimizing integration, and scaling business opportunities. Based in Barcelona, you'll work at least three days a week on-site but have the flexibility to work remotely two days a week.
About the Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving strategy for new Travel and hospitality clients, territories, and verticals
- Regularly generating new business opportunities and differentiating Scalapay's services with custom sales pitches and presentations
- Managing the Go-Live of your merchants, negotiating the best UX for our customers, and setting targets to achieve the highest possible Scalapay share of wallet
- Leveraging relationships with technology platforms, payment providers, marketing agencies, and key stakeholders in the travel and hospitality industry to generate revenue opportunities
- Identifying new opportunities to optimize our offering and serve merchants with the full suite of our products
- Collaborating closely with onboarding, integration, marketing, and account management teams to optimize the sales cycle
- Working on improving a complete and complex sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature with multi-interlocutors
- Meeting partners face-to-face regularly via market visits, fairs, events, and other activities
- Supporting your team and the overall strategy to continue positioning Scalapay as the pioneer in Buy Now, Pay Later for Travel
- Staying up-to-date with everything cool happening in the industry and being an expert for innovation in the travel industry
What We're Looking For
You must have:
- 3-5 years of relevant sales or business development experience within the Travel (Traveltech is a strong asset), SaaS, or Tech industries
Salary
$80,000 - $100,000 per annum based on experience and performance, plus additional benefits and incentives.
