About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Modality Sales Specialist to join our team in North Spain. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our customers in the Cardiology area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation and maintenance of our company's products and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure Philips is their preferred supplier.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Collaborate with marketing, services, and supply chain teams to create optimal offers for our customers.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the region.
- Create account plans for each customer, outlining specific strategies and actions to achieve budgeted targets.
- Implement action programs to improve the performance of Philips in each account.
- Drive the performance of the functions in the account team to achieve results.
- Analyze and report on sales results, market trends, and competition to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
- Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the North of Spain.
Requirements
- Degree in a biomedical engineering or clinical/science related field.
- 7+ years of experience in the related field with specific knowledge of the market and stakeholders in Cardiology area and in the medical device sector.
- Excellent team player with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish language skills.
- Ability to travel and work under pressure in a challenging environment.
