Marine Sales Specialist with Technical Expertise

The Service Marine market plays a crucial role in Alfa Laval Iberia's growth strategy, and we're seeking an exceptional Sales Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing this business and selling services (service agreements) to Shipowners, Repair Shipyards, and Power Plants in Spain and Portugal, focusing on key Accounts in the Marine & Diesel Industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze market insights and customer buying behavior, creating business plans aligned with the company's strategy and targets.
- Source and manage leads from the market and customers, converting them into genuine business opportunities to ensure a robust pipeline.
- Become an active presence in the market, making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers to understand their needs and showcase the value of our products and services.
- You are a dynamic and proactive individual who excels at delivering outstanding customer experiences through value-based selling that meets customer needs.
- You have excellent communication skills, energy, passion, drive, and a team-oriented mindset.
- You focus on driving business results and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A Naval Architect & Marine Engineering degree is essential for this role.
- You should have at least 5 years of experience in technical sales within the Marine Market, demonstrating strong commercial acumen.
- Fluent Spanish and English are required; Portuguese is a desirable asset.
- You must be based in the Madrid area and be willing to travel in Spain and Portugal.
