Job Description:

As a Regional Sales Manager for Spain at Armstrong Fluid Technology, you will be responsible for managing the overall customer sales and channel activities in Spain to achieve revenue growth and profit objectives. You will work within the European sales organization to develop channels to ensure market penetration, segment growth, customer support, project winning, and new customer acquisition to achieve sales objectives. This role requires a strong focus on large commercial and industrial applications with a sales process underpinned by energy saving and energy retrofit. Key accountabilities include business development, project direct engagement, and providing complete service to establish distributor/Reps network including quotations, product training, technical and literacy support. You will also identify significant bid opportunities and provide complete project information, including price strategy. Additionally, you will establish sales goals and specification objectives to meet company sales and provide regional leadership and representation of Armstrong. You will interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders and constituents, expand the representative network and whole sellers, and perform product training for end users, consultants, contractors, reps, and sellers to promote Armstrong new and existing product/solution lines and develop favorable specification position. You will also interact with the Company marketing department to develop commercial initiatives and actively participate in trade shows organizations. Reporting includes participating in monthly performance reviews as defined in the annual business plan and channel playbooks, editing visit reports, and feeding back market trends and evolutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of design, sales, or service experience in the HVAC system knowledge, a university degree or college diploma in mechanical engineering, and strong experience in the pump industry, commercial building sector, and a good all-round knowledge of industry dynamics. Value & Solution Selling is a mandatory skill, and CRM knowledge and utilization are also required. The candidate should be self-directed with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, have strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills, and be able to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations. Language fluency in Spanish, Catalan, and English, written and spoken, is a requirement, and French, Portuguese, or Italian will be a plus.
