Retention Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Retention Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our EMEA Telesales and Client Management organization, you'll play a critical role in acquiring and managing relationships with merchants across European markets.
Your primary objective will be to focus on account retention with small and medium key merchants, ensuring business continuation and collaboration across markets and lines of business. You'll be responsible for retaining volumes and revenues, ensuring compliance and control, and sharing best practices with the team.
Key Responsibilities- Retain merchants, collect missing Know Your Customer documentation, and information from high-value merchants to avoid cancellation.
- Assess account documentation and ensure compliance.
- Drive retention volumes and revenues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Native French speaker with in-depth knowledge of the country and market landscape.
- Experience in client relationship management, particularly over the phone, and KYC/AML checks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities and achieve goals.
- Accountability and ownership, with a high level of determination and self-confidence.
- English speaker (basic), with Spanish as a plus.
